Welcome to the Church of the Good Shepherd

Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors

The United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd

in cooperation with

The Episcopal Church

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

The Church of the Good Shepherd is a community of faith actively living into Christ's desire that the Christian Church be one. It is a congregation of the Desert Southwest Conference of the United Methodist Church, working in cooperation with The Episcopal Diocese of Arizona and the Grand Canyon Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.   We strive to honor the traditions, customs and styles of all three denominations so that those who worship with us have an experience of the holy.

Our pastor is Pastor Nina Yardley. She was appointed by the United Methodist bishop in 2011.

Our motto is: "Standing in awe of God and of each other."   We stand in awe and appreciation for God's great love for us all and the mystery of the Holy Spirit working in and through us all as we come to understand and appreciate our various traditions.

Pastor Nina can usually be found in the church office in the morning on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
